As the Head of R&D you will have the overall management and development of the R&D department of Desert Control. You will manage research activities, IP strategy and regulatory to meet business needs to strengthen the competitiveness of the company.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Drive the organization in all aspects related to Research, Development and Innovation including reactor system, chemical analysis, R&D projects, and technical support to regions / Licensees.
  • Ensure development of the formulation system to optimize LNC product and its effect in the soil
  • Manage the R&D team in Norway and coordinate with other scientist in Desert Control to ensure a good coordination of the activities across the group
  • Communicate up-to-date R&D knowledge to the organization and responsible for appropriate application and transfer of this knowledge
  • Establish and coordinate R&D- projects across the different regions/ operative units of Desert Control
  • Ensure, with involved regions, that the LNC has the regulatory approvals (including organics) to be able to reach targeted markets.
  • Make sure R&D department support regions solving technical issues that arise from time to time

You probably hold a MSc or higher education (PhD) within a technical field relevant to Desert Control and have experience in management of IP portfolio. Experience from the agriculture and landscaping industry or the field of agronomy is an advantage.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a business and solution-oriented mindset are needed to succeed in this role.
